Description:
Definitely the rescue diver course is the most challenging and at the same time rewarding in all your diving training. Why? Because you will learn to prevent and manage problems in and out of the water, becoming a more confident diver of your skills, knowing that you can help others if they need it. During the course, you will learn to become the best diving partner by practicing problem solving techniques. It is a serious and fun course.
What to expect?:
In this 3-day course, you will prepare to face diving emergencies, major and minor, using a variety of techniques. Through the development of knowledge and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond to an emergency. Topics include:
- Autorescue.
- Recognize and manage stress in other divers.
- Emergency management and equipment.
- Rescue of divers in panic.
- Rescue of unconscious divers.
- First aid.
For the rescue diver course it is necessary to have basic CPR and First Aid training (if you do not have the training, you can learn it during the course).
A personal first aid kit and other equipment such as buoys and markers are also necessary.
